REPORT: NJ HAS THE SECOND HIGHEST TAX BURDEN IN USA

Where will you find the second highest state and local tax burdens in the entire country?  You guessed it, New Jersey.  A report by NJ.com quote a study by the Tax Foundation that shows New Jersey residents paid a collective 12.3 percent of their incomes on state and local taxes in 2011, the most recent year where data is available.  New Jersey was edged out for the top spot by New York state.
