REPORT: NEW JERSEY TAKES FINANCIAL RISK FOR NJN

If the agreement to turn NJN over to WNET fails, the state will be on the hook. The Star-Ledger did a new report saying that the newly formed corporation that will take over NJN could walk away from the deal if the company is not hitting its financial goals. The report says 180 days notice would have to be given. The budget for the operation is $9 million, which is a mix of federal grants, rental fees, and private donations.
