UPDATE: MIDDLE TWP. HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC DIRECTOR RESIGNS AMID INVESTIGATION

Middle Township High School Athletic Director Scott Lodgek has resigned after being charged with taking nearly $2,000 from the school’s sports account on two different occasions. Middle Township Police report that the 48 year old Linwood resident took $1,825 from the school’s sports account and admitted to the activity. Lodgek has been charged with Official Misconduct, a second degree crime, and Theft, a third degree crime. Lodgek was processed and released on a summons pending court.
