REPORT: LOWER TOWNSHIP TO HAVE TWO CENT INCREASE IN LOCAL TAX RATE

Taxes will be going up in Lower Township.  The Cape May County Herald reports that the Township Council introduced a new budget this week that includes a 1.99 cent increase in the local tax rate.  Revenues in Lower Township dropped off last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
