The Cape May City Elementary School will soon be getting a windmill. As Coastal Broadcasting discussed last week, the school has been selected to be the site of an energy-producing windmill thanks in part to a $10,000 grant from Wal-Mart. The windmill is expected to be a 3.7 kilowatt turbine and is designed to work in low winds. The windmill project may include some other partners including the Cape May City Nature Center and Atlantic Cape Community College.
