The midget football program in Vineland may be shut down unless it improves its safety record. The Daily Journal of Vineland reports that the Vineland Midget Football League has been put on notice to improve safety or it will no longer be able to use city facilities. The report says at least eight youth football players suffered concussions during the 2013 season; of those eight injuries, only two were handled properly.
