REPORT: JERSEY SHORE PRODUCTION TEAM TO GET TAX CREDIT

A new report says the state is paying the MTV show “Jersey Shore.” The Star-Ledger reports that a $420,000 tax credit was approved by the state to be paid for the original 2009 production of the series. State Sen. Joe Vitale has asked Gov. Chris Christie to veto the credit. The credit was approved by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority. Christie has previously suspended to program due to financial hardships. The program was just reopened in the state.
