REPORT: INMATE DIES FOLLOWING “ALTERCATION” AT SOUTH JERSEY PRISON

A 38 year old prison inmate who was incarcerated for entering the United States illegally from Mexico died following an altercation at a prison in our region.  The Daily Journal reports that Salomon Hernandez-Vega died after injuries he sustained at the Federal Correctional Institution Fairton, in South Jersey.  No staff were injured during the altercation.
