REPORT: ICONA COMES TO THE FINANCIAL RESCUE OF GILLIAN’S PIER

The owner of the Icona Resorts has reportedly formed a partnership with Gillian’s Wonderland Pier to help the pier out of financial difficulty.  NJ.com reports that the family of Eustace Mita, the owner of the Icona properties, has formed a partnership with the Gillian family.  Gillian is the mayor of Ocean City.  Earlier this year, the pier was foreclosed on, owing $8 million in debt.
