REPORT: GENE ALLEN OUT AS ATLANTIC CITY BOYS’ BASKETBALL COACH

A major upheaval in the coaching ranks of boys basketball in our area, right before the season starts.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that Gene Allen has been dismissed as Atlantic City’s boys’ basketball coach.  Allen says he received only one vote of support from the Board of Education Tuesday night.  Elijah Langford has replaced Allen as coach.
