There was a fire Monday evening at a motor inn in Cape May. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Coulton Motor Inn in Beach Avenue suffered a fire in the owner’s quarters. Two cats were killed, there were no injuries to humans. The Cape May Fire Department had to evacuate about 50 people from the motor inn at the time of the fire, which occurred shortly before 8pm Monday. Fire officials believe the cause of the fire was accidental.
