REPORT: FERRY DREDGE SPOILS BEING SPREAD AT COUNTY AIRPORT

Dredge spoils removed from the berths for the Cape May Lewes Ferry boats are being spread in a field across from the Cape May Airport in Lower Township.  The Cape May Star and Wave reports that it’s part of a dredge disposal site improvement project.  Nearly a quarter million cubic yards of dredge spoils need to be removed from the storage area as the ferry terminal.
