REPORT: DEPUTY FIRE CHIEF SHOULDN’T HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED

A new report says Ocean City was wrong for suspending their deputy fire chief. The Press of Atlantic City reports that Deputy Chief Mark McCulley received the ruling from the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. The report says the ruling stated that the accounting practices were consistent with how the fire chief ran the department. McCulley was suspended for what the city said was an incorrect payout of overtime pay.
