REPORT: CHRISTIE, DEMS TO TALK ABOUT FUNDING CITIES

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and democratic leaders are expected to meet soon to talk about restoring nearly $140 million in aid for New Jersey’s neediest cities.  The Star Ledger reports that sources close to the situation say the talks will begin this week.  Christie stunned leaders in some needy cities when he slashed the municipal aid during budget talks.  Some cities including Trenton and Camden could face financial collapse unless the aid is restored.
