REPORT: CAPE MAY FIRE CHIEF TO RETIRE

A new report says a long time firefighter and chief for the past decade Jerry Inderwies Jr. will be retiring. Shorenewstoday.com reports the retirement from the Cape May Fire Department as of June 1. Inderwies has served as fire chief since 2004 and has been helping put out fires since 1987, when he started with the volunteer department and later joined the city’s paid department.
