REPORT: BRIDGETON OFFICER FOUND WITH MACHINE GUN AT HOME

A Bridgeton police officer has been suspended without pay after allegedly having excessive fire power in his home. Sergeant Steven R. Corey was charged with possession of a machine gun. The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office has said that it is investigating, but would not provide further comment at this time. The South Jersey Times was the first to report this story.
