REPORT: ANOTHER PETITION SUBMITTED TO BLOCK OCEAN CITY PURCHASE

Another petition has been turned in to the city clerk’s office in Ocean City in an attempt to have the purchase of a former car dealership lot put to a referendum vote.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that the petition was submitted Monday by a group called Fairness in Taxes, who believes the city may be overpaying for the lot.  A previous petition did not have enough signatures.
