RED TAPE BILLS BEING LOOKED AT IN ASSEMBLY TODAY

A package of four bills will be considered by a state Assembly panel today that will look to reduce the amount of red tape in the state government. One of the first things Gov. Chris Christie did once he got into office was create a red tape review panel who made a number of recommendations. Among the bills will allow state agencies to change regulations after a public hearing was already held on the issue. The bills will be heard in the Assembly Regulatory Oversight and Gaming Committee.
