RED DECALS ON LICENSE PLATE HOLD UP IN COURT

120px-Seal_of_New_Jersey_svgA group challenge new legislation forcing members of the state’s graduated driver’s license system to put red decals on their license plate lost in court. An appellate panel upheld the bill, which critics say make young drivers targets to police and sex offenders. The decals are to placed on vehicles driven by these drivers, who are often under 18-years-old. A review of the measure is on-going in the legislature.
