Tourism numbers in the Wildwoods grew by 5 percent over 2014, according to a presentation by the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority. The group gave their annual summer preview on Wednesday at the Wildwoods Convention Center and reported a record $1.5 billion of tourism spending for 2015, fully 25 percent of last year’s $6 billion record in spending for Cape May County. G.W.T.I.D.A. will continue to keep their “Can’t Stop This Feeling” tourism campaign, targeting women ages 25 to 49, who typically make the vacation decisions for their families.
