RATING AGENCY SAYS CHRISTIE BUDGET WOULD STRESS SCHOOLS, TOWNS

Standard and Poor’s believes Governor Christie’s proposed $35.5 billion state budget would stress both local school districts and municipalities.  The rating agency says many school districts will not get additional state aid and that will be a problem for these districts as they attempt to meet expenses.
