RATE OF TRANSMISSION CONTINUES TO CLIMB IN NEW JERSEY

New Jersey’s rate of transmission of coronavirus continues to climb.  The rate rose to 1.12 percent on Sunday, which means for every new case, it is transmitted to another person a little more than one time.  There were 457 new cases of the virus Sunday; the number of new deaths continues to be very small compared to prior months.
