RABID RACCOON FOUND IN EHT

On Monday, a guest at a hotel in Egg Harbor Township on the Black Horse Pike found a raccoon that was removed by animal control officers. According to The Press of Atlantic City, the raccoon tested positive for rabies at a state laboratory. Health officials urge the public not to  touch or approach wild animals. This is the second time a raccoon with rabies has been found in South Jersey in the past three months.
