PUBLIC WELFARE FRAUD STING CONTINUES IN LAKEWOOD

Six more couples from Lakewood have been charged with welfare fraud. State officials say the couples received a combined $400,000 in welfare benefits despite not being eligible to collect. So far, more than $2 million in fraud has been discovered in Lakewood.
