PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED ON WILDWOOD CREST BUDGET THIS WEEK

A tax increase in Wildwood Crest will be addressed at a public hearing on Wednesday. Borough Commission will hold a meeting on Wednesday at 7 p.m. over a proposed 1.5 cent tax hike. Commission may decide to take additional measures to lower the proposed increase or pass the budget as presented. The budget would keep the community under the two percent tax cap that has been passed by the state. The nearly $21 million spending plan does not include any layoffs.
