PROSECUTOR: USE OF DEADLY FORCE IN ATLANTIC CITY WAS JUSTIFIED

The use of deadly force by an Atlantic City police officer last year was justified, according to the Prosecutor’s Office.  32 year old Timothy Deal was shot and killed last June by police after he stabbed an officer in the torso with a knife.  The officer ordered Deal to drop the knife and he did not comply.
