PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY DATE MOVED FOR 2012

Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno signed a new bill moving the Presidential primary back. Lawmakers pushed the change to find additional savings, which could total over $10 million. New Jersey was among a group of states that had moved their primary date up in order to get more attention in the process. Christie was out of the state at a fundraiser for the Republican party.
