POWER OUTAGE CA– USED BY ACCIDENT IN DENNIS TWP.

A major power outage that affected the central portion of Cape May County was caused by a motor vehicle accident on Route 9 in Ocean View.  State Police confirm an accident took place Tuesday morning that knocked out power to more than 1,500 customers of Atlantic City Electric in the Dennis Township-Seaville area.  Police were still on the scene of the accident early this afternoon following the accident.  We were the first to report that power was expected to be fully restored by mid afternoon.
