Atlantic City Electric officials have returned power in Cape May County. The storms today knocked out power to over 2,000 customers from Wildwood to Lower Township. Transformers were knocked down as a result of high winds. Power was out in parts of Lower Township for a couple of hours due to the storm. Atlantic City Electric officials were able to get power returned in Middle Township more quickly by refeeding some lines. Power was knocked out around 12:15 p.m. and was mostly back online by 3 p.m.
