POWER COMPANIES GET SCOLDED FOR POOR RESPONSE DURING NJ STORMS

Power companies in the State of New Jersey have been severely scolded by regulators regarding their lack of a proper response to restore power following storm events.  Governor Murphy ordered the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities to review the response time and provide guidance.  The companies now have 30 required actions, including new vegetation management plans, and mutual aid assistance agreements.
