New data shows that state residents are becoming more confident in where the state is heading. A Fairleigh Dickinson/PublicMind poll shows that 42 percent of the state believe New Jersey is heading in the right direction. The numbers show a seven percent increase from the month prior. 48 percent still don’t like the direction of the state, but that number is down seven percent as well. The job performance of Gov. Chris Christie is approved by 47 percent, compared to 36 percent who disapprove.
