Gov. Chris Christie still has a lot more work to do in order to convince New Jerseyians following “Bridgegate.” A New Rutgers-Eagleton poll says that 47 percent don’t believe the governor’s explanation about what happened. The poll is released just after the one year anniversary of the scandal. Almost 25 percent somewhat believe him and roughly 23 percent do believe his explanation. Christie claims he had no prior knowledge of the lane closures and it was rogue people within in his office who coordinated the mess.
