POLL: ATLANTIC CITY NEEDS TO COMBAT CRIME

A new survey released this week shows that state residents believe Atlantic City has to address its crime problem before tourism and visitation improves.  A new Stockton-Zogby poll shows that over two thirds of the respondents believe that crime is the single biggest issue that needs to be addressed by the city’s new tourism district.  Cleaner boardwalk and streets trailed fair behind as the second leading response.  The poll was taken in the new first legislative district.
