PLASTIC BAGS, STYROFOAM CONTAINERS TO BE BANNED IN CAPE MAY

Plastic bags and styrofoam containers will be banned in Cape May this year.  City Council passed a new ordinance that requires merchants to get rid of those products.  Straws will also be required to be made out of natural materials as well.  The city will give merchants six months to comply before fines are handed out.
