PHILLIE GREAT ROBERTS DIES AT THE AGE OF 83

One of the greatest Philadelphia Phillies passed away today. Robin Roberts died of natural causes at his home in Florida. He won 286 games in his career. Roberts help the Phillies win the 1950 National League pennant. 14 of his 19 seasons were spent in Philadelphia. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1976. Roberts was 83 years old.
