The Philadelphia Soul have announced that the team will be hosting a silent auction at Summer Slam in Wildwood, NJ on Saturday, August 13 to benefit ‘Lunch with Lynch’, a Wildwood-based charity.

“Summer Slam is one of my favorite Soul events every year,” said Soul VP/COO John Adams.  “The venue, right on the beach, is phenomenal.  Our fans love going there, the city welcomes us with open arms and the Soul, along with Coastal Broadcasting and the Boardwalk Bar and Grill, get to contribute to a great cause with the event’s net proceeds being donated to the Lunch with Lynch Foundation.”

The silent auction will take place at the Sixth Annual Summer Slam, located on Schellenger Avenue and the beach from noon to 4 p.m.  A second silent auction will be held at the post event party at the Boardwalk Bar and Grill (3500 Atlantic Avenue) from 4-6 p.m. where fans are invited to continue the celebration with players and Soulmates as food and drink specials will be available.

Items to be auctioned off include the following:

–        Ron Jaworski autographed items

–        Donovan Morgan game-worn autographed shoes

–        Philadelphia Phillies autographed baseballs by Jimmy Rollins and Brad Lidge

–        Philadelphia Phillies autographed hat by Ryan Madson

Summer Slam will be presented by Coastal Broadcasting with FUN 106.7 and 98.7 The Coast broadcasting the event live with entertainment featuring live bands, food vendors, and inflatable rides and games for kids.  The Soul will also be holding a Merchandise Blowout Sale for fans to bring home their favorite Soul gear.

A men’s 7-on-7 and a co-ed 8-on-8 flag football tournament will begin at 10 a.m. and run through completion on the beach.  To register your team now, go to
