An off duty Philadelphia fireman died during the Escape the Cape Triathlon in Lower Township Sunday. The man was in need of medical attention during the swimming part of the three stage race; he was taken to Cape Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead later in the morning. The identity of the firefighter has not yet been disclosed.
