PHILADELPHIA EAGLES PROMOTE TWO TO ACTIVE ROSTER

135px-Philadelphia_Eagles_helmet_rightfaceThe Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday promoted two players from their practice squad to their active roster.  The Eagles announced today that they have promoted both defensive tackle Jeff Owens and defensive back Jamar Wall.  The Eagles also released tight end Garrett Mills to help make room on the roster.  Wall will replace rookie safety Nate Allen, who blew out his knee during a win over the Giants and is lost for the season, and the playoffs.
