PENNSYLVANIA MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO CUTTING DOWN TREES IN AVALON DUNES

A 63 year old Pennsylvania man has pleaded guilty to a charge of cutting down some trees in the Avalon dunes earlier this year.  David S. Dempsey of Newtown, PA cut down the trees at 32nd Street and the beach.  He must pay the maximum $2,000 fine allowable under law, and pay nearly $2,000 in additional restitution to Avalon, plus court costs.
