PATTERSON NOMINATION IS APPROVED IN SENATE

The state Senate approved Anne Patterson to the state’s Supreme Court. The full senate voted on the measure on Monday. She will take over the seat by Justice Roberto Rivera-Soto. The approval was unanimous, though a couple of voters were absent from the proceedings. Rivera-Soto is stepping down in the fall from his post.
