PARKING METERS MAY BE ON LONGER IN CAPE MAY’S SHOPPING DISTRICT

Cape May is moving forward with a plan to keep parking meters on for a longer duration near the Washington Street Mall.  Council has approved a plan that would keep the meters on during the Christmas shopping season and in early spring in an attempt from preventing employees from taking up parking spots.  An ordinance was introduced last week to extend the parking meter season.
