PA MAN CRASHES PICKUP, FUEL TANK EXPLODES

On Thursday night a man was found wandering in the woods after his pickup truck crashed and it’s fuel tank exploded. Hamilton Township Police report that 47 year-old Vincent Eberline of Towanda, PA, was driving westbound on Route 322, when his 1994 GMC pickup left the roadway, crashed into several trees, overturned, came to rest in a drainage ditch and then caught on fire. Police found nobody with the vehicle so the Atlantic County Sheriff K9 Unit helped search the area. Eberline was treated at a local hospital for his injuries, and issued a summons for leaving the scene of a crash, while additional charges are pending.
