OVER 1,000 VIOLATE NEW JERSEY’S PRICE GOUGING LAW DURING CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

Over 1,000 people have been cited by state officials for conducting price gouging during the coronavirus outbreak.  State officials say all of the individuals have been cited for breaking the laws that prohibit the unfair inflation of prices during a state of emergency, which still exists.  Over 100 subpoenas have been given to retails about unfair pricing as well.
