OUTDOOR WOOD BURNING HEATER ADDRESSED AT LOWER COUNCIL MEETING

Lower Township Council has taken action to allow residents to sign complains against outdoor wood burning heaters. The issue has been talked about over the course of the last few meetings. A public hearing was held on the ordinance and a final vote took place on Monday night. A number of Erma residents had complained over one burner that was creating a quality of life issue. Smoke would fill the air around the surrounding homes. The planning board is going to further look into the issue during its Oct. 20 meeting.
