OPERATION BEACHHEAD HOSTS SURF EVENT FOR DISABLED VETERANS

This Saturday at 10 a.m. disabled veterans and their families can enjoy a day at the Davis Ave. beach in Wildwood with assistance from qualified instructors and support from local merchants. Operation Beachhead will host the free event, as part of their mission to provide adaptive recreational activities to veterans, troops, disabled individuals and their families. Former Wildwood resident George Rague is Vice President of the organization that will provide adaptive surfboards, kayaks, and standup paddle boards with volunteers to help participants enjoy the day.
