UPDATE: THREE DEAD IN JERSEY SHORE MOTEL FIRE

Three people were killed this morning during a raging fire at a motel along the Jersey Shore.  It happened earlier today in Point Pleasant when a fire struck at the Mariner’s Cove Motor Inn two blocks off the beach in Point Pleasant.  Firefighters say three people were killed and a county sheriff’s official suffered an injury while investigating the fire.  The motel was completely destroyed.  No word yet on what sparked today’s deadly fire.
