The major air carrier at the Atlantic City International Airport has been grounded Saturday due to a pilots’ strike. Spirit Airlines announced that all of its flights are grounded today because the pilots walked off the job early this morning in a labor dispute. About 80 pilots will not be flying today, and some of them picked up picket signs late this morning at the local airport. About 300 passengers showed up at the airport for flights today, but they were turned away. Those people will get credits for flights in the future.
