OFFICIAL SNOW TOTALS: ABOUT 7″ IN SOME PLACES

The spring snowstorm is gone, and officials say nearly seven inches of snow fell in parts of Cape May County Tuesday afternoon into the evening.  The storm has pulled away towards New England and fatigued road crews spent another night plowing streets and putting down salt.  Primary roads in the county are in very good shape; some secondary roads in neighborhoods still have snow and ice on them.  Winds are expected to pick up later today which could bring some tree limbs down.  It will warm up this weekend, but with some rain in the forecast.
