OFF DUTY STATE TROOPER SAVES LIFE IN SEA ISLE CITY

An off duty New Jersey State Trooper helped save a life in Sea Isle City back on August 3rd.  George  Wren was on vacation when he rescued a swimmer who was caught in a riptide.  The victim was 75 yards off the shoreline when Wren made the rescue, using a surfboard to get to the victim.  Wren put the man on the surfboard and paddled both safely to shore.
