A vote has been scheduled to move the municipal election date back in Ocean City. New state law allows for non-partisan elections to be scheduled in November, instead of May. The move would save the resort money by not having to hold a May election. Some are concerned that the local election may be lost in the shuffle of the bigger tickets involved with a November election. The vote will be held during a Thursday meeting.
